The ministry is based on Acts 2:42, "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers."

Our children spend time in the four "legs" of the ministry:

Family Time

A meal spent with two table parents and their "table family" where they dine on great food, discuss essential questions, and play a table game.  This is an amazing experience for the kids and adults as they build relationships with one another through Christ.

Worship Skills

Our children are taught how to worship through song, stick worship, bell choir, dramas and other creative activities.  Children show their worship skills on several Sunday's throughout the LOGOS year.

Bible Study

Our children participate in a Bible study by Group publishing that connects the Bible with their everyday lives.  We have outstanding Bible study leaders who really get to know the children and help them grow in their relationship with Christ.

Recreation

Our children have fun together playing games, doing creative activities and building relationships with one another.  These positive relationships are great to carry over into their school and outside activity settings as well.  We make lifetime friends at LOGOS!

Calendar

The LOGOS ministry runs from September through April on Wednesday evenings generally following the Grand Island public school calendar for holidays and days off.  When there is no school there is no LOGOS.  For your child to participate in LOGOS, there is a minimum committment made by a parent or adult sponsor to volunteer for the ministry.  Adults benefit from LOGOS just as much as the children and it is FUN!

Many adults in our church who have children and don't have children participating in the ministry faithfully dedicate their Wednesday evenings to cooking, teaching, and playing with kids.  We have many dynamic leaders who love to share Christ and Christian values with your children.  Volunteers are always needed!
