We value children and include them in all aspects of congregational life – worship, mission, service and faith education.
Parents may wish to have children baptized as infants or children, or can choose to wait until they have completed Confirmation class. When infants and children receive the sacrament of baptism, the entire congregation commits to helping the family raise their child in the Christian faith. We take that commitment seriously, and offer many opportunities for children to participate in the life of the church. Contact Pastor Caroline Price-Gibson to discuss baptism.
We welcome all ages to take part in worship services. You may see children acting as Christlighters or coming forward for the Children’s Time. There are worship bags in the entrance that will keep your kids busy during the service. The bags contain a Bible activity page on the same topic as the scripture reading and message, so families can discuss what they learned. Nursery care for infants and young children is available in the nursery (downstairs), with live video feed of the service.
Information about our various children’s ministries are available on the For Children menu above. Starting at age 2 children may attend Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. School-age children will love the Wednesday night Logos Ministry, and we have lots to offer middle school and high school youth.
