Missions

First Presbyterian Church is involved in a variety of mission projects.

Each week a group of 20-30 women meet to make prayer shawls which are distributed to those in need in the community. Once a month a group of women meet to sew for various local and international needs. We support the missions of the Presbyterian Church USA and several local missions. Each Christmas we are a gathering and relay location for Operation Christmas Child. A number of local missions are supported through our Deacons. Kristin Hamner, a member of our congregation, serves as our missionary in the Dominican Republic.
