Caroline came to Grand Island in August of 2008. She is excited about her ministry with the people of First Presbyterian Church. She loves working with congregations as we seek to grow spiritually, and to become more caring of one another and our community and the world. Previously she has served as pastor of churches in Richmond, Virginia; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Lake City, Iowa and upstate New York. She has also served as a Nursing Home chaplain. Her theological training was received at Union Theological Seminary in New York City.

Caroline and her husband, Stephen, have two sons. David attends college in Virginia and Andrew lives in Washington, DC. In her free time Caroline likes to keep up with the political happenings of the nation and community. She also enjoys reading, swimming, sewing, traveling, painting (pictures, rooms, and projects for church) and playing with the family dog (a cocker spaniel type mutt).
