At First Presbyterian Church, Family Ministry is the heart of what we do. We sing songs, play games, share free meals, worship, laugh, and serve our community. Together, we create a safe place to ask questions, explore faith, experience God’s love, and discover what it means to follow Jesus.

We lift one another up, rejoice together, and put our faith into action—loving our neighbors and living in Christ’s service.

Another amazing year of Y.O.W. is in the books — filled with laughter, friendships, faith, games, conversations, and unforgettable moments together. But don’t get too comfortable with summer break… fall will be here before you know it! 🍂

Registration is now open for Y.O.W. 2026–2027 (Youth on Wednesdays) at First Presbyterian Church of Grand Island!

Y.O.W. is a place where children and students can belong, grow in faith, build friendships, ask questions, and have a blast every Wednesday night. Whether your child has been coming for years or is thinking about joining for the first time, we’d love to welcome them this fall.

Youth Mission Trip - Pine Ridge, SD

In June 2024, we took 12 youths to Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in SD. We helped restore a park, learned an important and often overlooked part of American history, and were great in community and faith. Thank you to everyone who helped make this meaningful trip possible!
